Non-Turbo Intake Size
Hi All,
Anyone know what the diameter of the non-turbo intake manifold is? Or more specifically what the OD of the fitting is? If there is not one, how could I connect a pipe? I am going to replace my turbo intake so I can insert a fluid/air intercooler and just run it into the front intake port. I don't have one in my hands yet, but would like to get the bits in progress for when I do. Cheers, h. |

Its 3" OD. A 3" silicone connector/clamp will fit perfectly.

Wow that is huge. Especially when the turbo output is 1 3/4".
Thank you! |

The NA D24 is such a turd it needed all the help It could get, so a very low restriction intake with the long runners helped it run as good as it possibly could... Couple the long runner intake with the turbo, you get the low end off boost benefit of the runners and larger intake volume for the better response, and the boost to cram it in there once the turbo spools up. Its a win win. Though without a bigger turbo I don't know how much low end off boost response your going to pic up with the NA manifold, because the turbo becomes a bit of a restriction off boost with the tiny compressor setup.
