Power steering belt length

At the moment I have the stock 1985 D24T 740 installation in which the power steering pump is driven by the same belt as the mechanical cooling fan.

I have an electric fan which I can fit once I remove the shaft from the alternator mount.

This means I need a shorter belt driving the power steering pump directly from the crankshaft.

I see that some folks have done this already. Can anybody save me some time and tell me the belt size and length?
