Default d24 NA

Hi

I'm building a tic for my 245
but prior to finish i work on a NA to to put in

it's a 88 block with a 91 head fully rebuilt by a pro for his brother 8 or 9 years ago.
It just ran 1 hour so the breaking in is to do !
it's not seized at all.

i've painted the block
matched the intake /head and exhaust /head by porting

i need to do the timing and adjut the pump.
install the Efan too.

TADA !

oil cooler the oil heats up quick and stay cool

lower position for the steering pump the bracket is a typical "cold" countries where the AC is not very popular like Germany for mine

small cute bottle

relocated better for air flow

fan and shroud from a 850 diesel

relay 2 speed from the 850 diesel too

fuse holder easy to check and change if necessary

the temp stay 1.5 mm up the horizontal dot the fan kick on at 92°C et cut off à 90°C 197.6 F and 194 F

it run for few seconds each time only
big speed is automatic (thermoswitch)
low speed will be mounted on the dash with a manual switch in case of the high speed circuit failure

i've never tried while driving yet but soon :king2: :king2:

there is still some job .....

i need a radiator : mine just pissed like a cow on roîds on a lower fin during the assembly / test of the cooling system.
damn shit.

i will replace the injectors too it's too rattle rattle right now. even if i'm at 0.87 for the pump.

i've changed the 2 dead glowplugs that did the engine start like in the video.
it's fine now.
