Default Another scandinavian, Mikael from Norway

Greetings from Norway 69° north, i have been reading the forum for a while, but i have for a long time liked diesel engines (and 5cylinder petrols)
the first d24t car i owned was an 87? 740 sedan that car was just a platform for a bilcross (low budget rallycross) car to get an audi 5cyl petol and rwd, fantasticly fun car on the track
heres a video for those liking petrol sounds

cuple of years i got a friend of mine to get an 740 wagon d24t and that realy got me wanting one

but jumping from that and straight over to my curent roadcar an 86 740 wagon d24 na m47 and original lsd =)

old taxi but drove nice untill the headgasket gave up,

so then

and i acquired this on friday

took out this yesterday

only 213000km - 132000miles

after 20+mins of washing

so the the status right now is that im waiting for my dad to get done with the car he has in the garage so i can drop it in and enjoy my vw dv? engine 102hp

i am going to change the head gasket to a mls and arp? studs (where do i get those) change the timing and pump belt
i am also going to intercool it sinse i have the na manifold

anny other things i shuld change while i am at it ? exept the tubo

some of my earlier cars sinse this is an introduction

07 polo gti cup edition 1,8t 205hp

81 volvo 343 1,4 (and i actualy almost won that, realy hauling him in at the finish)

91 honda civic wagon rt4wd

87 vw passat wagon 2,3 budget rallycross

and the car i am never going to sell my 87 passat gt syncro 2.3

94 rat golf wagon

84 jetta coupe

81 bmw e21 318i

and my first car was also a 91 civic wagon rt4wd

had way to many cars to post pics of, you will just get tired of it,
and this is where the magic hapens

and lets not forget the garage (strupen customs on facebook)

long post but i hope you enjoyed it and will enjoy my progress
