Yes i do an i made it like the m46, can't shift the overdrive on, before highest gear, so it still handle the torque

Yes just like that, without the electronic to sense the 5gear, the shortened and balanced driveshaft, the relocated bearing, etc etc

Yes i relocated the center bearing to get a more smooth angle after dropping the transmission so there is room for the overdrive

Default 940 tdi auto 1995

hi my d24 tdi . has been returning 32 mpg on local runs for many years now .but on a long trip motorways mainly i got just over 40 mpg but did have new genuine injectors fitted early this year .
just thinking about putting 10% veg oil to a full tank of diesel would it harm things o I've been using millers diesel eco clean for the last 12 years 60mls to 60 litres of diesel so that should complicate things

This summer I made a roadtrip through Scandinavia, 9000km in total.

Combined usage was 35mpg, city + countryside + mountains in the north.

Engine setup
D24t, no intercooler, turbo pressure 1.7 bar, fuel pump turned up (alot)

Drag raced my friends 940 2.3 turbo automatic transmission (bone stock) and won.
