Sounds good, what do you mean by 7mm element?

Not a volvo but its a diesel so why not!

Different dieselpump,
its a "rowpump", and noseaxle uses pistons on elements.

Looks like this. Damn i dont know enough words to tell
exactly what those elements are^^

I assume this to be a Bosch inline injection pump. It has a camshaft which actuates 6 plungers. Unlike the rotary pump we use on the D24 which has a single plunger and a rotor to divert the fuel to the appropriate nozzle. The inline pumps are like small engines in that the camshaft has cams which actuate the plungers according "firing order".

Smart guys those Germans are.

He must mean 7mm plungers. Thats a mini version of a p7100 pump. Must be nice to have that pump from the factory to be able to play with. The p-pumps have way higher fueling potential than the ve pump!

thats what i meant but its hard to translate those word. the thing with these pump are that they dosent almost have any overcapacity so you have to change plungers if you want more hp. a mercedes 300turbodiesel (om606 engine) pump delivers 61ccm fuel max and a d24 delivers 95ccm max, so
d24 is easyer to get more horsepowers from with having to rebulid the pump

Yep, you cant beat the simplicity of the "full power screw" Just turn it in and turn up the power!
