Default Conversion to OM603 turbo

I've broken my d24 engine in my Volvo 245, but has obtained a om603 turbo which I'll try to insert ..
but has not quite decided if I should keep the original automatic transmission or cut clutch coat to weld to customize a Volvo gearbox

I know im not contributing with anything productive with this repply but why going for the OM 603? The OM 606 is a far better option.
