Default D24T Glow Plug Wiring

Greetings all. I have installed a D24T in my '79 245, and am adapting the glow plug relay wiring and have run into some problems. This engine/relay was in a 200 series car before and I did not do the swap. Some of my wiring colors don't match up to the manuals. Also I have found out that the D24T(700 series) glow plug relay is wired differently then the D24(200 series) glow plug relay. The D24 relay seems to have an external controller somewhere, whereas the D24T relay has everything built in.

Here is the D24T glow plug wiring diagram:

Thank you Sodak.

What I need to know is the colors of the wires coming off the plug on the glow plug relay. If someone could tell me what colors their wires are and how they correlate to the small numbers on their plug. That would be awesome. It looks like there should be 1 Orange wire, 2 Blue wires and 1 Brown wire.

As you can see on mine there is a Blue/Yellow wire, a Yellow wire, a Blue wire and a Green wire. I don't know which ones which!?

Thanks very much!

Are you wanting the colors off a 2xx series car or a 700 car? I guess I'm not clear on what your asking for...

Thanks for the interest everyone. I wanted the wiring for a 700 series, but I found one of my old 700 wiring harnesses. It appears the wiring is the same as the pigtails on my glow plug relay: there is a Blue/Yellow wire, a Yellow wire, a Blue wire and a Green wire. These colors do not match up with the wiring diagram.

I believe I can figure it out, but if you 700 series guys don't mind taking looking at your glow plug relay. If your wires are: 2 Blue, 1 Orange and 1 Brown, or something more like the wiring diagram colors reporting back with the corresponding colors/numbers?

Thanks!

Dark out now but I'll take a look at one of mine tomorrow. The 200 and 700 systems are indeed different except for the '84+ 240s which, AFAIK, use the same single-unit controller/relay as the 700s. I think the '83 700s are different from the later ones too, at least my '83 has a different setup than my other D24T cars.
