coolant
Hello I have strange overheating, when the brick is in town temperature is 1/4 in the gauge ok, but when I reach highway and I go over 70 mph the temperature raisesto 3/4, It does not reach the maximum but it does not sound well to me.
I am going to change the thermostat and coolant. Do you know what coolant is ok and what volume? I am reading Haynes manual, and says 50% soft watter and 50% coolant, but this manual only referes to gas engines. thanks

I don't know whats available over there, but I would just use a good quality coolant. The Zerex G03 coolant is good stuff, you can also use the G12 or G12+ VW coolant that comes in the TDI diesels.
