Great that's only a 650 mile, 9-10 hour drive up the road. Btw, thanks for your reply Jason.

Well there are very few out there, if you read through the rest of the thread, everyone is from the PNW or the east coast it seems, with one guy in AZ.

I guess I must've missed this thread. I'm in Southern California. I've only ever seen two other Volvo diesels around here (both 240s, oddly enough).

Hi everyone! Greetings from sweden!
Nice to have a forum for the very nice no electronics D24t engine!
I´ve been running diesels all my adult life, and right know I am into my 4th d24 engined car a 944 with d24tic and m46 mods so far:
Lowered suspension
3" exhaust all the way from the turbo
Boost gauge (reads about 20 psi)
Turned in max fuel screw
Electric cooling fan

Mods to come:
Fully overhauled engine
Bigger turbo
Modified pump mostly boost pin adjustment and centrifugalregulator adjustment
That is really all you need

Nothing to do with the fact at there are alot more of these engines than in USA.
People want to get rid of their boring redblocks..
And suffer immense pain trying to tune greenblock^^
