Default d 24 engine into gas wagon, will it work??

I have had this 6 cyl. diesel d 24 for quite so time. Unable to find a donor car as in a wagon.
So my next plan is,,, Will a 240 or newer GAS Wagon take my D 24 ?? I still have my 1984 240 4 dr. sedan with head leaking and is very TIRED OUT.
I want a Wagon for the room. Well has any one DONE THIS? or Know that this will Work.

Thanks D.Gerlach

I don't know why not as long as you have the engine mount brackets, and a bell housing for your M46 transmission. You will also need a pilot bushing made with OD of the diesel pilot bearing, and ID of the gasser pilot bearing. You probably have the rest assuming that your 244 is a diesel.
