Default Where's my oil going😳

My oil is disappearing at a rapid amount. There's a some smoke from the valve cover breather not nothing major. Haven't dont a compression test yet,
Could it be the rings or cylinder scaring. I'm adding quarts every other tank of fuel

I had the same problem with my other D24 engine.

Turns out he was drinking alot of oil through the turbo/intake.
had way to much under pressure.

Tried a lot of things to make that engine a bit more fresh but nothing helped... it was waiting for a runaway.

Swapped the engine from my white 740 in the station and still running fine (1 litre oil in 4000km, including mountains)
