Default D24T oil pump part number?

I have a D24T fitted to my boat, the oil pump gasket is leaking, the oil pump is quite corroded and as the oil pressure warm is about 30 psi I would like to replace it. Can anyone give me the original part number for it? The model information I use for spares is 1990 Volvo 740 engine information (80kw/109hp).

There is a member here parting out a d24t, user name Striker37. I'm sure you could get the oil pump from him for a decent price.

I don't know the part number for the pump, but you could go onto an online parts seller for Volvo and look at the parts diagrams to get the part number. I highly doubt it's available though, even if they are I think it's around $900 for the oil pump.

Thank you Anders for the reply, I think I may have found the part no in an online parts list, there's a company in Germany I get spares from who said if I gave them the part no they would see if they could source one. Failing that I may ask Striker if he will sell me an oil pump

You may find the VW part numbers to be useful too.

D24T for VW are DV, 1G and ACL.

?Is there an online parts reference for Volvo? I have not found one, but perhaps I am looking in the wrong place.

I am also interested in the uses of D24 apart from my LT and a generator I found. It would be nice to have a picture and a little history, when you can.

Due note that the D24 and D24T pumps are different. The D24T pump produces more volume and is driven off of the crank via 4 cogs vs only 2 on the D24 pump. A D24 pump cannot be used on a D24T crank without modification.

http://www.volvotips.com/parts-catal...ts-catalog.pdf

This is the website with the on line parts list.

On this parts list it gives the same part no 1328977-2 for D24, D24T and D24tic engines, is there a difference?
