ngoma- I followed your advice by replacing the O-ring for the water pump, even though it took a few steps backward- glad I did because the old one was unserviceable to say the least.

I bought a 3/4 torque wrench and got the required torque for the center bolt using my homemade wrench and counter hold. Got a very satisfying "CLICK." The most difficult part was making a 3/4 inch square hole. Thanks for the specs, Goteborg Vapenfabrik

Now the cylinder head and the front sprocket are installed and torqued. The timing belt seems tight but I don't have the gauge to test it. One concern is during the final stage of torqueing the head bolts instead of 180 degrees, I wound up with 165-ish on all because of an obstruction with turning the wrench the full amount on the first bolt. The book says to turn without stopping. Should I torque all the bolts another 15 degrees or just leave it or should I throw away those bolts and start with new ones?

I will try to add photos.
