Freeze plug heater.
I tried a couple of freeze plug heaters and both leaked and didn't seem to have enough clearance. Anyone have any luck?

Hell of a deal its on sale for $21 right now. I'm using the Kat's heater in my new engine, works great and isn't leaking so far. It says the warrenty is void if you use sealer, I say BS, I dressed the o-ring with permatex aviation sealer and its working great. Makes a hell of a difference on cold starts especially when it gets below 20 degrees. Jason

Yeah. I got one in the VW. The glow plugs won't even come on after a couple of hours.

The kats one is in my engine, so it can vouch for it fitting. Should work for you.
