Default Aftermarket rims?

Where do you guys find aftermarket rims that fit the 760?

I'm after something comparable to the ones on this car in the attachment.

Those don't look like aftermarket rims; they look like Volvo factory rims. Somebody here might know their "name."

I have the ones in the first picture below, I didn't realize the picture I linked had a different type of stock rims. I think they are the same as the 2nd picture in this post. That will help make them easier to find. Thanks!

The ones on that gold wagon you pictured are named "Virgo" and are a 15" alloy rim, originally available on 242GT and 240 Turbo. They're good-looking wheels, however, they have 200 series offset (slightly different than that for 700 series) and the way the interior is shaped, they don't fit over the large brake calipers on *early* 700 series (1983 and possibly some 1984), or on later 700's with ABS. However, if you have a middle-year 760, they may fit fine and they look good. Also, these are especially soft wheels and prone to bending, so it can be hard to find a good set -- and since they feature exposed lugs in deep wells, Volvo originally paired them with special extended chromed lug nuts, which are how they look and work best but can also be tricky to find.

The second wheel in the two in your post above is called "Draco" and is stock on 740 turbo 1986-1989 and 1991. They look good on 700 series, fit over all the brake options, and are easy to find, easy to clean, and less prone to damage than the Virgos. Good option all around.

My personal favorite is called "Sirius" and is a 10-spoke 15" alloy, looks like this:

They come in two flavors, a machined-finish style that came on 1983 and some 1984 760's and used a chrome center cap (as pictured), and a later lacquer-finish version used with a silver plastic cap on 1985 740 Turbo only. The set I have on my wagon is the early 760 type. They're hard to find, but they're lightweight, strong, and look nice.

Out of all the rims pictured in this thread, these are my favorite as well. The car is a 1983 760, so the original ones I liked wouldn't fit anyway. I'll have to keep my eyes out for a set of the Sirius' then. I would probably paint them black (at least partially) because the car is already silver.

How about the Hydra? I have sets of those to prove it looks great on 700s and maybe even better on older 240s.
Also very easy to keep clean (flat, big surfaces) AND they take the hubcaps from Dracos (which are cheap +easy to find)
Hydras added a great personality to the 240 sedan.

Would the 2000 V70R rims fit the 1983 760? The bolt pattern is the same, but I wonder if they would clear everything and have the right offset. I think those would look good in a charcoal color (the 760 is silver).
