Since Jason isn't on the board very often any more, it may be a little while before he sees this, but I remember him saying he did have a problem with leakage from that area and had to try to seal it up somehow. I think he said he eventually burned the trans up on a long trip after it ran low on oil.

Well thats not too encouraging!

It seemed like it had a small drain hole in that area to allow fluid back to the case.. But I tried to plug it off and isolate that entire area, and use grease as a lubricant instead. Evidently there is still fluid getting up there somehow. I may have to re-think the entire extended shifter mod. It would be nice to encase it all somehow...
