Default D24T runs!

This morning I started the engine for the first time, after a few cranks it ran almost instantly. I made a short movie of the engine running: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JXjnBblqYX0
Things to do:
Painting the valve cover
Putting the inlet manifold and turbo from a D24TIC on it.
Putting it in the car ofcourse...

Congradulations! Please share your process for priming the IP/injector lines/injectors.

I've put a plastic tank above the engine, so the diesel went to the pump by itself. Then i disconnected the fuellines at the injectors, cranked it till the diesel came out of the fuellines. Then I fastened the lines and started it. It ran almost instantly. For the oilpump: I filled the bore in the block to the oilpump with oil (at the oilfilter), and oilpressure was already there when i was cranking!

Looks great and sounds even better!

How did you get it started with no bellhousing to mount the starter to, though??

Starter is mounted on the engine and you can bolt the starter from behind..
