I finally fired it up today! It runs great trans works great and so does the clutch. No major issues. I did notice the passenger side motor mount is too weak to hold the motor in the right place, so the fan rubs on the shroud and the turbo rubs the frame. It was new from rock auto, but had a smaller diameter, so it squished more. It was the only on I could find at the time. I have since ordered a transmission mount because they seem identical. If all else fails I will use another drivers side mount with some slight modifications.

I did not intercool it yet because I did not like the intercooler's configuration. I ordered a different one with same-side in and out.

I ran the engine long enough to heat it up. Then I did the hot torque on the headbolts. After that I have been letting it run and driving it up the road and back once in a while to break it in. No smoke, and blow by does not seem excessive.
