New Member introduction
Hi,
I'm Abe, and volv8 referred me here. I have a D24T motor that has been modified to fit in a 240 series car (intake, oil pan, engine mounts are modified). But....I have a gas M46 transmission and a spare diesel bell housing that I want to use. I recently found out that the output shafts are different sizes in the gas vs diesel transmissions. I'm here at the forum for guidance in making these two work together. So I'm going to do some searching now. I am also looking for throttle cable spools for my motor because it didn't come with them. Any help would be appreciated! THanks, Abe

940 tdi auto 1995
hi all members just like to say hello
i have had my d24 tdi 14 years now 211800 miles its been a loyal servant I've done quite a few jobs myself on the car . brakes/ radiator/rear shocks nivomats/ front and rear discs/ new steering wheel/new dash circuit board/ brake fluid/ coolant. and plenty of small jobs too . i live in staffordshire England . this is the 1st diesel car I've owned I've had 3 240 model volvos before this car regards j.p.liddy
