I'm going to try to relocate the drain with out taking out the whole motor. I might have to cause I don't want metal shavings in the pan.

Nice fittings and weld job there! I would agree, seems logical that that position for oil return might be susceptible to backups and stoppages, especially while cornering.

OH man... I had the same problem! I hope your engine was not improperly built like mine was. You can always run the car with out the turbo to see if will still smoke.
