Default Intercooling a D24T With a D24TIC set up.

Hi,

I have a 940 TD with a non intercooled D24, and have been offered a D24TIC intercooler and manifold set up from a 740 for a very reasonable price.

Now the only problem that i can personally see without trying to fit everything is the turbo inlet housing pointing the wrong way. Wrong way being towards the bonnet rather than the floor.

Is it easy to rotate the inlet housing?

Also is there any other problems/complications i should look out for.

Thanks in advance,
Lee.

Not at all.
you have few bolts to loosen behind and just rotate it
be careful to not hurt the gasket.

you need the intercooler /radiator upper brackets wich are longer.

i don't see anything else except it will make more power and run cooler.
