Hah... excellent.

Jason, I think the Volvo world is starting to take hold of you....

Car sounds and looks good. You will really fall for it once you get the manual gearbox swap done. I have really taken a liking to my automatic wagon as a daily driver, since the power is much easier to use when a D24T is matched to the ZF, easier to keep the revs up... so I think the automatic is faster than the stick if I am being lazy. But if I'm really trying to hustle, I think the stick will still outrun the auto every time. And M46s shift really nicely too, much better than a VW 020 or 02J/A...

Nice work.

George, I just bolted the bellhousing onto the M46 yesterday. I took the overdrive filter screen out and cleaned it, and inspected the gears and such down in the trans... I ended up getting a early M46 out of a non turbo 2xx series with the steel case. Hopefully a little stronger. It shows no wear though, the car had less than 100k on it and had rusted out. I know for sure the manual is faster, Alex (with the '83 760) and I have raced a few times when we were out screwing around. My car with 20lbs of boost and fresh 273 injectors barely pulls on his car with only 15lbs of boost, worn injectors and he's still running a stock turbo! It is really obvious the difference the manual makes, he's putting all the power to the ground and my car is just slipping that damn torque converter and wasting power! As for off the line? Don't even ask, its embarassing!
