You have now joined the club! So far how do you like it? Are you going to turbo it? After putting the turbo on my 244 I will never go NA again.

Yes turbo will eventually come. Good news is that the engine was rebuilt with a turbo one and it has 30,xxx miles on the current D24. Surprisingly has plenty of power on flat ground, it is when the hills come that you really miss boost. Still working out the quirks of owning my first Volvo and Diesel but its been fun so far.

Congrats! Welcome to the Volvo Diesel fold. Looks like you got a good one! That is one of my favorite color combos on a 240, and a pretty unusual one.... the only other 245 Diesel I have seen with the beige over brown scheme is the '85 that Anders ended up buying.

Good to have yet another D24 in the Puget Sound area.... think that brings us up to almost 30 (!) diesel Volvos in our local area that I am aware of. Doubt if there are too many other places in the world with such a high concentration....
