Default headgasket quality

Im in a difficult situation
I have bought a victor reins mls headgasket and now has my friend told me that they are crappy, is this true or is he not that clever as he thinks?

If it is an MLS, they are fine. I have gotten several that have the VW/Audi markings on them... Use it with confidence...

Make sure the mating surfaces are perfect, MLS gaskets are not as tolerant to imperfections as the fiber ones.

Both block and head a cleaned and smoothed by a machine workshop. So I'm pretty calm there
