Default 760 gas turbo? Will it work?

Will a 760 gas turbo work for our D24's? Is it similar in size and mounting? My friend is parting a volvo out and I thought I would ask.. Thanks...

The Mitsu ones use a different flange.
Expect to change some plumbing.

I don't know what the differences are in the sizes of the wheels and housing, the wastegate is a completely different setup, but probably superior in some senses. The redblock turbos up through sometime in the late '80s or early '90s used a standard T3 that will bolt onto a D24T header flange but the rest might take some fabbing. A stock D24T turbo works pretty nice in terms of driveability, and they seem to never ever break so there are lots of them around, and fabrication is pretty minimal to adapt one into a 240 -- if you want to slap something on that may be your easiest approach...

The '81 240 turbo is the only gasser turbo that has the same flat turbo flange as the D24T uses, so to answer your question, no, it won't work.
