Default New D24T owner in Northern California...going into a 242.

Been here a while, thought I'd do an introduction.

Mike94531, name plus zip code.... Antioch, CA

Car: '78 242 that was given to me by my father-in-law. It has 426,000 miles on it and it shows!

The car was in 2005 when I picked it up and it is pretty much the same condition now.

Plan is to install a D24T that I removed from an '85(?) 744 a few weekends ago. M46 transmission until I get motivated to make a plate to adapt the T5 transmission I had rebuilt for my B230F that was going into the car.

I'm also slowing gathering all the parts for an Ford 8.8 IRS swap, of course it is taking longer than expected, as usual for any of my projects.

I'll have to make a project thread when I make more progress.
