Default NEW DECALS!!! These are bad-ass take a look!

I had an idea a few weeks back about a cool decal to put on the volvo, and my buddy Joe (who was nice enough to make me up the D24t.com decals) helped me get them together...

One thing that kinda annoyed me about our cars is the lack of a D24 or D24t badge or emblem anywhere on the car. Just the non-descript "turbo diesel" badge. All the other diesel stuff out there like the Ford, Dodge, and GM trucks all have their diesel engines represented with a cool brand specific badge. I really like the look of the Cummins "C" logo on the newer Dodge trucks:

I got to thinking it would be pretty bad ass to have a D24 badge on the volvo front fender to represent what's under the hood...

So.....

How about a D24 turbo diesel badge for the front fender? Bad ass or what??!!!

Dude, I was thinking the SAME thing.

how about something like mentioning VW.

Maybe VW symbol with a D24 under it. I don't know.. might be confusing like those powered by stickers.

"powered by VW" and its on a Volvo rig... hmmm :-/

I had thought of adding in VW before the turbo diesel on the bottom so it would read VWTURBODIESEL but I don't want to keep hitting Joe up with revisions... I'm just tickled shitless with how cool they came out. At least having the D24 somewhere on the car will be cool for me.

I want a couple of those for the project car. Generally not the type to put a bunch of stickers on my car, but these look too sharp to resist. And the 760 attracts a fair amount of attention anyway, with how loud it is... may as well let people know what is under the hood, because I can see by their faces that they are wondering.

I wouldn't put any VW stuff on there. Simpler is better, looks great as is.

Will they show up against a white fender?

I'm with ya on the over stickered ricer look... Not for me either. These are more of a copy of the cummins badge, and I was going to stick them on the front fender like the placement of the C on the dodge trucks. I know its not a real badge, but I don't have those kind of resources at my disposal, so a vinyl decal is going to have to do. I think they will stand out pretty well on any color without being too flashy. The brushed aluminum look goes with any color. I had originally thought about using the chrome vinyl since the cummins badges are polished but I started looking around and every decal that was chrome stuff looked cheap and ricer like.

I don't know how many of these Joe can make me, they will be a couple layers to get the colors on them. I'll see what he says and post the finnal result up. If you guys want a set these may cost a couple dollars... I would feel bad not giving him at least enough $$ to get a case of beer or something!

Are these for sale yet? I prefer the one on the left with the lower case writing.

I've got some but they are the uppercase "turbodiesel" as I wanted to try and duplicate the cummins C logo closely. There are a couple pics of my car with the logos on it in the showroom section.
