That thing is absolutely sick looking. I love the dish on the wheels, and just the body lines of the 242 look good. The color is a little off the beaten path too which looks great to me. If my 760 got trashed somehow/wrecked/whatever, I would look for a 242 to swap my drivetrain into. I have actually thought about doing it anyway, as I love the look of the car, and being a 2 door coup the curb weight is less, so it would be a little faster to boot! Any pics of the engine? Specs/mods/etc...? What year is the car?

looks @ about a `79 to me or older -still has early bumpers but 79/81 style grille ,yeh 2 doors are cool they never sold em in uk tho so I`ll just have to look at the pictures lol.

78 modell. Original d24t with one turn on the fuel screw and 1,5 bar turbopressure.
