So after finally getting the time to work on my 940 I got the dial indicator out and to my relief the pump was 0.7mm out! How did this happen? After changing the fuel pump drive belt I found it difficult to torque the cam pulley bolt with the tools I had available causing it to rotate under the extreme load. This time around I made an adapter to allow me to torque it properly and added a bit of thread lock to be on the safe side. Many thanks to Ngoma for your help and keeping me level headed.
