83 245 D24 converted to D24T
I posted my build here a couple of years ago. The engine was done right with new os pistons. The head had all new vavles and some seats replaced. It is the D24 head though. I couldn't tell the difference in the heads turbo or na. Has the NA cam and intake. I just replaced the transmission (M46) with a 120 k unit from a 82 Turbo 240. The turbo was rebuilt when I did the engine. I put in a new 3 inch down pipe and 4 inch pipe the rest of the way to the back.
I have probably put 100,000 miles on the car since the engine build. I really don't know what the car is worth so I'll throw a number out there of $3000.00. That may be to much for this crowd, but I have put a pretty good amount of money in this car, and I would drive it anywhere.

83 D24T 245 .50mm oversized pistons, 3 inch exhaust, but otherwise stock except the boost is turned up to 20 psi. 81 VW Caddy 1.6TD with some minor head work, and big exhaust.
