Thanks for the info Jason. Its great to find a site pretty much dedicated to 6this particular engine I thought it had been long forgotten!!
As long as you guys on here don't mind I may let the guys on the LT forum I am a member of know about this site the knowledge here I am sure will be invaluable.
I am thinking TBH to just use the D24T engine and maybe just either swap the to the D24 Cylinder heads over mine runs hydraulic lifters not sure if its best to go that route or just stick with the solid lifter D24T head and swap the N/A cam in?
