I have put this short movie together. My goal is to show the changes of my 740 through the years.
Description of this "Part 1" video.
"The old engine ran hot on a vacation, so I had to replace the engineblock with a N/A. I thought it could be "fun" to see if the N/A parts could last with the turbo. I made a "redneck" overhaul on the N/A engine. New rings on original N/A pistons, honed the already worn cylinders. Put on a non-cracked cylinderhead. The engine still runs fine, and now with intercooler and some more boost. It burns some oil though, so a "real" D24T engine is in the making...
