Although I am a bit confused,my mechanic is a long-time served mechanic, him and his father have been running the business since the 70's, and he has done timing belts on the D24 before, and he did the timing belt on this car the last time, including changing the water pump and idler roller without changing the pump belt, all for a very reasonable price.I have been using him for about 15 years, and all the work he has done for me has been first class.He is one of the few mechanics I completely trust, and have complete faith in his abilities. When I approached the Volvo dealer, they also gave me the option of changing the front belt without changing the rear belt for a considerably lower price.
