Even if the engine was shot, I would have sourced a motor for it. They are about as rare as the diesels except the values on those have been starting to climb.

There is an absolutely mint one that shows up at the IPD Garage Sale every year. Original enthusiast owner. It's pretty amazing. I've only seen about 10 in that color combo. It's kind of ugly, but that's what I love about it.
