Strut housing is an
expensive part, I hope mine is not junk yet. Thanks, the above quoted info is good to know when I end up searching in the local junkyards
IF the strut housing inner top lost its threads... (up until what year do you think they are interchangeable for my 1986 brick?
Also, I was not successful locating
gland nuts but I`m sure someone here knows where to order them from (and what type). Idea about *anything else* (for example: additional parts) that I must think about when replacing the strut inserts? I don`t want to reuse stuff that should be new parts. I haven`t seen a Volvo strut dismantled for many long years... luckily. Thanks
