Likely the issue if the hose has never been changed... you could try cranking down the clamp a bit more but the hose is already hard and squashed down like most of them are, unlikely it'll make a lot of difference.

Think I remember that those hoses are NLA from Volvo now, but there are other solutions if it needs replaced.
