Thanks. I didn't see heat shields when I put the new injectors in. I ordered some that were for the old vw diesel rabbit because I was told that they are the same but as I look at them they look small in comparison to the injector. However, if it's missing said part would it affect the way it runs? I understand that if they get carbon deposits it will.
