You should be fine at 2600 psi. Do you know what they did to get them that high? That's approx 180 bar, stock is 150. I'm wondering if they shimmed it that much or replaced the springs. The VE pump is capable of producing much higher pressures then that, so on the pump side your safe. I think once you go to the 12mm pump you find that 1.0mm of timing will be fine. Every setup is different though, depending on engine condition, HG thickness, and even the pump.
Your engine may sound like a 24valve cummins with the pop that high and a 12mm pump though.

You may encounter a broken injector spring with the 12mm pump and the pop pressures that high if those are indeed the stock springs. You will know when it happens!
