I have exactly the same intercooler in my 92 wagon as it started life with a B230FT and I retained the whole assembly when I switched to diesel.
I will be interested to see how this goes. Who knows, there might be a nifty way of routing the hoses from the turbo and back that would suit my limited capabilities.
