I would make sure that you have A: bled the air out of the system properly, B: made sure that the heater control valve is functioning correctly. Running a hose through the system is the best way. If you don't have access to a hose, find access. Otherwise you may be wasting a lot of time (and money) unnecessarily chasing a problem... Good luck.
