Yes the engine is orginal d24. Its same than d24t but there is no oilsquirts on the block and couple other things.
I dont now is it v8 or straightsix turbo. There on the turbo only read scania but it is modifed to work in mercedes 5 cylinder 300 diesel. I bought it that mercedes man because his project is on the ice  Last summer i drive 1,5bar(21psi) boost but next summer when i get my new better dieselpump i try to drive 2,0bar(29psi) boost or maybe more. Now i have maybe 200 horsepower, summer 2010 i hope 100hp/liter or more
