Hello to all.
I do not currently own a Volvo equipped with a D24T motor but am interested in learning more about this powerplant. Fifteen years ago I purchased my first Volvo TGB11 (C303) ex-Swedish army 4x4. A decade ago, I obtained a TGB1314 6x6 ambulance with a destroyed B30A gasoline engine. Rather than going stock, I was able to install a Mercedes OM617A turbodiesel engine. Same peak horsepower, greater torque, higher fuel economy and a red line of nearly 1,000 rpm faster than the original gasoline motor.

Last year, I took possession of another TGB11. This one is one of the AluZn rebodied and rust free truck. I do not know enough about the D24T engines at this point to consider this as a transplant candidate. Two days ago, I purchased a complete 1983 sedan with an excellent running OM617A engine. $500.

Take care.
