Yeah it's a one way deal... You can use the d24t block in the 240 and use freeze plugs to block the coolant passage for the oil cooler and the d24t dipstick hole.
You can use the d24 block in a 7xx car by drilling out those locations... But why would someone want to do that? Last resort I guess. It seems the d24t blocks are plentiful anyways.
