I know that the oil dipstick in the d24tic goes through the block and in the d24t is in the oil pan...some one posted something about the heads being diferent...

You are like me based in Europe, the best for you is to get a M90 gearbox for a d24Tic, it has to be the diesel one because of the bellhousing.
