hi only one i had fail did same flattened battery -recharged started and ran but draining battery -unplug g p relay ok, new relay jobs a good un ! G

yep thats the one it has 2 openings so the air filter can be fitted either end depending on what vehicle it was in ,just had a rubber cap on other end but no good to us cos had a hole for breather...

Hi I think the `capping off the dump valve` bit is because Jasons car used to have the non intercooler manifold which has the pipe straight off the turbo & blow off valve on the end ,u not got that...

hi you can try top hose from ford escort zetec from 1990`s has built in switch , just need to cut the hose and sleeve in the part with the switch . I think fan uses 30 amp fuse happy wiring

the oil temp gauge used a sump bung with a sensor in , I think the pressure gauge used a different pressure switch -accessory parts that came as a `GT ` gauge kit

would a tank unit from a gasser with the little pre pump be able to flow enough fuel? probly simpler to just splice in parts shop one under the floor pan though. might need one for mine as wont pull...

some of the gassers had two pumps but I think diesel only has the main pump no lift pump does sound like lack of fuel and as the v8 man says tight valves could give similar symptom as they heat up an...

sounds like sucking air in the fuel lines to me need to check for perished hoses or poss leaking pump seals
