I see, so the pressure I am pumping from the filter end will push it out the hose in the filler neck. Well I tried sucking from the filler neck before but got nowhere. I couldnt get the hose down...

What oil?
Just changed the oil with the usual 15-40 but got to thinking up here in the cold NY winters, should I use something else?
What does everyone use/ recommend?

well, done.
the new inner o ring didnt fit...
well, done.
the new inner o ring didnt fit tight to the stud so I had to position it carfefully on the filter and raise it up and thread. took a few tries but I got it. Doesnt seem to be leaking...

I have an brand new scan tech glow plug relay.
scan tech part number 10,8126
volvo part number 1258126
I think it fits 1980-85 240/260s. Might fit others too! Definately not 1986 740s...
