Iím not sure there is a workaround for loose chambers, my head builder would not rebuild the head if the chambers are loose. Lots of damage happens when one of those decide to fall out..

The 12mm pump will effectively have more advanced timing then the 10mm pump. I typically run .10mm less timing with the 12mm pump. So around .9-.95 seems to be good.

I would use an old cylinder head as a drill guide. It will the keep the drill bit centered and true.

That's an overboost dump valve, it will illuminate the "turbo" light on the dash and dump excess boost into the intake after 13lbs or so I believe.

I have used both 274 and 297 nozzles, I haven't noticed a difference. 274's are the GTD nozzles used on the 1.6TD. The 297's are the newer design used on the 1.9 idi TD. You will be happy with either.

Car is all washed, it's on 16" VOXX mg3 wheels. Still need to install the 3" exhaust, cooling fan(s), mount the remote mount oil filter, and install the oil cooler.

I'm not sure about the newer 2.0 diesels, but I think the 1.9 and 1.6 have 6 a bolt flywheel vs the 8 bolts on the D24

That's the downfall to these motors and high HP. My last head that I sent out to the rebuilder needed three of the chambers replaced as they where cracked (this head came from one of my built engines...
