just latest update the cars new bottom and top radiator hoses fitted ok and no leaks from thermostat area either . im awaiting replacement O ring from main dealers will let you know what...

got photo thanks yes my stat is good now no overheating .and no leaks im hoping volvo send me the correct O ring like on the photo will be taking the wrong Ring back to dealer when new...

gave the housing a good cleaning with 800 grit emery paper i just put the old gasket back as its not been on long used a bit of hylomar sealant applied it just to the aluminium outer...

just spoke to a frying he says volvo changed the gasket design to a square gasket with a groove in it about 1995 because of leaking problem have you heard of this i put the gasket on...
