That's pretty cool. I'm not sure that your test was very accurate though. That is an incredibly short distance to conduct a test.

You should conduct the same test again, but over 300-500 km.

I think re-torquing the head bolts would be a great idea! That is the first thing I would try to do. If you were willing to spend a few dollars, then I'd replace all the bolts (one at a time)....
